We raised money for our school at the Walk-a-Thon. When we started we stretched to get ready. Some of us walked. Some of us ran. If you walked a little over six laps then you walked a mile. We had water breaks when we were tired. All together our class walked over 300 laps! Our laps helped raise money for our school.
We got to use the computers this week. We have our own code. We have our own files to save our work. We went to our class website. We played math games to help us learn. There was a doggy game. There was a number game where you can color the number grid. There was a game where you can answer how many squares are empty. There was a popcorn game where you can learn more words. It was exciting and we learned a lot.. You can do it too!
Today the fire fighters came to our school. We learned about crawling under the smoke. They told us that if your fire alarm goes off you should get out of the house. Don't bring anything with you. Make sure you don't go back in for anything. Let the fire fighters do it. Never play with matches. We also saw their gear. That is all we learned.
