The kindergarten classes had a parade for Chinese New Year today. They marched down the hall. Some kindergartners were making music with their instruments from home. They had homemade drums, guitars, and maracas.
Some kindergartners helped each other and were part of a big long red dragon. The body was made of a red plastic table cloth and sticks for the children to hold. The head of the dragon was white and made of cardboard. There were pom-poms and ribbons on the head too. One kindergarten student was in the head to make his mouth move up and down.
After the dragon there were more kids with instruments. We had so much fun watching the kindergarteners.
Happy Chinese New Year!
